Q. Do I need a permit?
A. Most townships today require a permit prior to the installation of a fence. Usually a copy of your survey and a contract are all that are needed for a permit. We suggest applying for a permit as early as possible – it could take some time to obtain this.
Q. What about underground utilities?
A. Iroquois Fence will notify Dig Safely to have all public utilities located and marked. The homeowner is responsible for all private underground utilities. Examples of these are: septic lines, landscape lighting, garage power, sprinkler systems, and pool lines. Iroquois Fence will not be held responsible for any hit or damaged private utilities.
Q. Are fence products produced in the USA better than those produced overseas?
A. Yes! Products made in the USA have higher standards of quality:
Metal products have higher strengths, better coatings applied to them for longevity, and tighter tolerances for size.
Vinyl fence products produced in the USA are entirely different from those produced overseas. The USA produced products have better quality UV protection and far superior coatings applied to them for strength and longevity.
Iroquois Fence proudly uses American made products whenever possible.
